Buyer Protection Policies

1. Overview  

This Buyer Protection Policy describes the support mechanisms available to customers who purchase products through the Trincos platform. This policy supplements the Terms and Conditions, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy. Nothing in this Policy creates a separate insurance product, guarantee of outcome, or independent warranty beyond those expressly stated in the applicable Terms and Conditions. 

2. Product Authenticity & Quality  

Trincos partners with verified distributors and suppliers who are required to list provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, images, and quality standards. If a delivered product is materially defective, damaged in transit, incomplete, counterfeit, or substantially different from the description shown at the time of purchase, buyers may submit a claim in accordance with the Return & Refund Policy.. Product authenticity, manufacturer warranties, and quality standards remain the responsibility of the applicable distributor or manufacturer.  

3. Order Processing & Fulfillment  

Every order placed on Trincos is fulfilled by authorized third-party distributors and approved logistics partners. Trincos does not operate warehouses and does not physically handle products unless expressly stated. Estimated delivery timelines are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Buyers will be notified of delays or material fulfillment issues when reasonably possible.  

4. Shipping & Delivery Support  

Tracking information is provided where available. If a shipment appears delayed beyond the estimated delivery window, buyers may contact Customer Support for assistance. In cases of lost, untraceable, or misrouted shipments,  Trincos will coordinate with the distributor and carrier to investigate the matter. Resolution may include replacement, refund, or other commercially reasonable remedies, subject to carrier confirmation and the Shipping Policy provisions regarding risk of loss.  

Nothing in this section modifies the allocation of risk of loss described in the Shipping Policy.   

5. Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items  

If a product arrives damaged, incorrect, missing components, or materially not as described, buyers must file a claim within the applicable return window and provide reasonable supporting documentation (such as photographs or serial numbers).. Upon verification by the applicable distributor, resolution may include a replacement, refund, or partial refund, depending on the circumstances and distributor policies.

6. Returns & Refunds  

Returns and refunds are governed by Return & Refund Policy. Refunds are issued only after returned products are received, inspected, and approved by the applicable distributor, unless otherwise required by law.. Certain categories such as perishable goods, hygiene-sensitive products, customized orders, and digital goods may be non-returnable except where defective or required by applicable law. 

7. Secure Payments & Buyer Financial Protection  

All payments processed through Trincos utilizes industry standard encryption and secure payment technologies. Trincos does not store full card details on its servers. In case of suspected unauthorized or fraudulent transactions, buyers should contact both Trincos and their payment provider promptly. Fraud investigations and chargebacks are governed by the applicable payment network rules and financial institution policies. Trincos will reasonably cooperate in legitimate investigations, but does not independently guarantee reversal of charges outside applicable payment provider frameworks.   

8. Fraud Prevention & Account Security  

Trincos uses automated and manual monitoring systems to detect suspicious transaction, payment fraud, and policy abuse Orders may be temporarily suspended for verification if irregular activity is detected. Buyers may be required to provide identity verification or additional documentation before processing continues. 

9.Distributor Compliance Standard  

Distributors are required to comply with product safety laws, intellectual property laws, and marketplace standards., Trincos reserves the right to suspend or remove sellers who demonstrate repeated non-compliance or violation of platform policies.  

10. Unfulfilled Orders & Stock Issues  

If a distributor is unable to fulfill an order due to stock shortages ,or logistical constraints, buyers will be notified. In such cases, buyers may choose to receive a refund, replacement (if available), or cancellation.

11. Policy Updates  

Trincos may update this Buyer Protection Policy as required by changes in applicable law, payment regulations, or platform operations. The version in effect at the time of purchase shall govern the transaction.
