Charge a Device Even When Your Computer or Laptop Is Not in Use
The first USB 3.0 port, which is labeled with a charge symbol, can charge a mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet, when the source device is in Suspend mode only. A blue LED indicates the hub is receiving sufficient power to support all connected devices.
